Public Notice - Proposal to stop area of legal road

Hastings District Council gives public notice pursuant to Part XXI of the Local Government Act 1974 (“the Act”) that it proposes to stop an area of legal road being an alleyway between Tenby Terrace and Walton Place in Flaxmere, Hastings. The area is shown as Lot 45 on DP 14047.

Lot 45 is currently legal road. Lot 45 is a 3.00metre wide alleyway linking Tenby Terrace and Walton Place in Flaxmere, Hastings. Lot 45 has an area of 205 square metres. This alleyway is not required by the Hastings District Council. The stopped area would be amalgamated with the adjoining residential properties.

A copy of this public notice and a copy of plan DP 14047 are available from the Council’s Transportation Policy & Planning Manager, Bruce Conaghan or may be inspected at the Council’s Customer Service Centre, 207 Lyndon Road East, Hastings. Enquiries regarding the proposed road stopping should be addressed to the Council’s Transportation Policy & Planning Manager, Bruce Conaghan (ph. 871 5000).

Any person objecting to the proposal should write, giving details of their objection, including reasons to:
