LIFT Bounce Life Skills
3 weeks followed by ongoing support and pastoral care LIFT Bounce Life Skills gives the foundational skills that every job seeker needs before getting out there and living their dream. The programme helps young people to discover their goals for the future, allows them to set a plan for those goals and give all the necessary skills to ensure that they know exactly where to start. The idea is simple - to pass on valuable life information and give a helping hand to those who want more for their future.
Week 1 – Whakawhanaungatanga, getting to know each other, but more importantly getting to know yourself.
Week 2 – Communication, Motivation, confidence building, personal principles, time management, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, self-assessment, barrier identification and rapport building skills
Week 3 – Self presentation and conducting themselves, interview skills, setting goals, looking at career opportunities and taking the first steps towards a positive future.
