Vehicular and pedestrian thoroughfares with sufficient traffic to warrant prioritisation.
Public notice is hereby given that at a meeting held on 28 June 2018, the Hastings District Council approved the central business district streets listed in the table below as priority thoroughfares for the purpose of identifying any potentially earthquake-prone priority buildings.
The streets listed are as a result of changes introduced under the Building (Earthquake-prone Buildings) Amendment Act 2016 and public consultation completed under Part 6 of the Local Government Act 2002.

Information of buildings on these thoroughfares will be reviewed to determine whether they are potentially earthquake prone in accordance with the EPB Methodology, and owners of any affected buildings will be notified by the Council.
