Parking Fees

The free parking trial has been extended until 30 June 2017 for on street carparks only – time limits are still in place.
Pay and Display off street parking area fees have been reinstated, along with relevant time limits.

The time limits for free parking have been retained to ensure people do not “hog” parks. It is important to retailers and customers that everyone has access to parking. Those who abuse the time limits will be ticketed.

How it works:

Coloured plates reading “Free parking, limit one hour”, or “Free parking, limit two hours”, have be placed over parking meters.

Drivers who stay longer than the designated time limit will be ticketed.

There is no change to the management of leased parking, mobility parking and motor cycle parking.
