Heretaunga-Hastings is the home of Ngati Kahungunu, which through its myriad of hapu and marae gives us our cultural identity and cultural narratives. Eastern Institute of Technology
The Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT), one of New Zealand’s leading institutes of technology, is our local tertiary education provider offering 150 qualifications from certificate to postgraduate qualifications.
EIT is equipped to support your workforce (current and future), delivering well-trained workers and creative and critical thinkers to the region. Students gain transferable knowledge and hands-on skills through placements, internships, and other opportunities to learn ‘outside the classroom’ through EIT’s strong partnerships with local industry.
