Personal Statement:

Born in Taihape, Ann was five years old when she moved to Hastings with her mother and sister, where she attended Mayfair School, Hastings Intermediate and Karamu High school. Ann married and moved to Clive for three years and then to Haumoana where she has happily resided for the past thirty four years. She has three sons and four grandchildren. 

 Throughout her working life she has gained a variety of skills, knowledge and experience in the health and horticultural sectors and in particular within the construction industry, developing and managing a successful multi branch stone supplies and construction company. Ann is passionate about the environment and has been actively involved in environmental and local community groups.
